Experience a Show at the WSC Planetarium! 4-H Astronomy Workshop
Saturday, March 18, 2017
1:00 to 3:00 p.m.
at the Wayne State College Fred G. Dale Planetarium
Location
The Fred G. Dale Planetarium is located in the lowest level of the Carhart Science building on the Wayne State
College campus. Enter Carhart Science through the southwest doors. Once inside, go to the stairs at the south end
of the building and go down to the lowest level. You may also take the elevator. Both the Carhart Science building
and the planetarium are handicap accessible.
Parking
Parking is available at all lots. Please do not park in the 15-minute or handicap spots (without appropriate permission).
View a cosmic show at the Wayne State College planetarium and create a fun constellation
project at this family-oriented event! Cloverbuds (ages 5 to 7), 4-H age youth (ages 8 to 18), and
adults are welcome! Open to 4-H and non 4-H families.
Cost:
Show Only: $5.00 per person; ages 4 and under are free
Show and 4-H Project: $10.00
Youth can choose one 4-H project to complete after the show:
Constellation String Art (for ages 5 and up) Astronomy Geoboard (for ages 10 and up)
Register by Friday, March 10. To register, contact the Madison County Extension Office at 402-370-4040.
Registration is not complete until payment is received.
