Diarrhea among children of Soriano Compound as a health status problem related to:
A.) Lack ofknowledgeabout the presence of possible complications of diarrhea as evidenced by: improper
food preparation
not potable drinking water
improper food preparation
improper storage of food
After 2 weeks of nursing intervention there will be at least 10-20 % decrease in incidence of diarrhea among children.
After 2 weeks of nursing intervention the community will:
A.) gainknowledge about the presence of possible complications of diarrhea as evidenced by:
proper food preparation
having potable drinking water
proper cooking of foods
ideal storage of foods
Set a group meeting.
Identify the problem and plan for actions to be carried out.
Discuss the risk factor of diarrhea for the community people.
Conduct house to house visit within the community
To be able to plan ahead for the future activities for the intervention.
Planning is essential in every action being carried out.
To provide continous education for the community regarding diarrhea.
To encourage the community people to attend the seminar.
