F3 Professional DevelopmentGetting StartedChoose a date that is convenient for both the CEP
instructor and the College liaison.Design your agenda and confirm presenters.Include vendors-they may help with gifts/lunch.Invite CEP instructors, Principals and School
Counselors.Have attendees sign in. F3Require evaluations to be filled out and handed in to
receive the gift at the end of the program.Provide Certificates of Participation to all attendees.Provide a meal: breakfast/lunch/dinner.
F3 Professional DevelopmentWish List:Require release time for CEP instructors to
attend professional development days in the CEP contract.
Require college liaisons to attend P.D. as part of their CEP duties.
Offer stipends to CEP teachers and liaisons.Order CEP gifts for attendees.Offer a session(s) that will be of interest to
the CEP instructors’ own professional growth.
F3 Professional Development“Pack the House with Standing Room Only”Provide awards to the high school Principal for
support of CEP in their school. Have awards engraved with the CEP instructors name.
Invite Principals to attend opening session/keynote and receive their award.
Take pictures with principal and CEP instructor and college liaison.
Send picture to schools with a press release for their district newsletter.
