Recommended:*hot, easily digestible foods

(e.g. cooked fruit/vegetables,rice & cereal dishes,

seeds, nuts & healthy oils)

*digestive spices & fresh herbs

*hot main meal between 12.00 & 14.00 h

*light evening meal at least 3 hrs before going to bed

(avoid raw fruit/vegetables)

*take your time to eat, then relax for 5–10 min.

*5-6 glasses of hot water per day

*be in bed before 22.00 h

*tell those people around you, that you intend to retreat to peace and

quiet for a while & will hardly be online

*activate your automated e-mail response

Best to avoid: *heavy, sticky or

poorly digestible foods(e.g. wheat, meat, fish,

yoghurt, quark & hard cheese)

*dairy products & fruitin one meal

(careful with breakfast muesli)

*canned and dried foods

*re-heated and deep-fried foods

*a snooze after a meal,go for a walk instead

*cold drinks

*alcohol

*coffee, black tea & green tea(stop at least 3-5 days before

beginning the cure)

*over-exertion when doing sports
