Marcus Parker is an internationally recog-nized lecturer, author, instructor, and an industry thought leader with 17 years of experience. He is currently an adjunct Pro-fessor at Trinity University in Washington, D.C. He achieved a Bachelor of Science
degree in Engineering, and a Master of Science from RIT. He has published several articles in Department of Defense publications on Business Process Improvement using Lean Six Sigma and proj-ect management methodologies. He is also a content contributor in the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) 5th edition chapter 8 on Quality Management. Marcus serves as President of the Project Management Institute (PMI), Silver Spring Maryland chapter which has 660 plus members. He is the recipient of the 2015 PMI® Chapter Leadership award and his board of directors won the 2015 PMI® award for collaboration and outreach.
