EFFECTS+Systems and Networks Cluster Workshop
Roland Rieke
Fraunhofer Institute for Secure Information Technology SIT
July 4th-5th, 2011
Objectives of the Systems & Networks ClusterWorkshop on Models
• Various projects in the ICT Framework Programme are currentlyusing “Models” of different kinds in order to assess upcomingsecurity and privacy challenges as well as mitigation strategies.
• The Effectsplus Systems and Networks cluster, organises thisworkshop, which aims to provide a forum for discussing thedifferent approaches of projects in this area.
• Expected workshop results:• identify possible areas of collaboration among projects• identify which concrete models are publicly available and
re-usable in related projects• identify gaps between existing approaches and promising areas
for future research• discuss further Systems and Networks cluster activities
