Virginia Modeling, Analysis and Simulation Center
A multi‐disciplinary modeling, simulation and visualization collaborative research center that works with over 100 industry, government and academic members to further the development and application of modeling, simulation and visualization as an
enterprise decision‐making tool and promotes economic development, VMASC also supports Old Dominion University’s master’s and p g p p , pp yPh.D. programs.

• Serves to mitigate loss of life and property due to manmade and natural disasters by preparing emergency command and management personnel and organizations
• The National Center for Collaboration in Medical M&S (NCCMMS) was established by Congress in 2001 as a joint project between EVMS and ODU, whose main objectives are to:organizations

The Commonwealth of Virginia ranks first in the nation in total defense employment and Hampton Roads has the largest share in Virginia with 59%
