Merkaba of Sound WhatistheMerkaba of Sound?Tobegin,wemustaskwhattheword“Merkaba”means.Dependinguponyoursource,thewordsiseitherEgyptianoritisHebrew.
InEgyptian,theword“Mer-ka-ba”translatesassomethingsimilartotheconceptof“Body-Mind-Spirit”.“Mer”referstoaspecificlightmanifestedbytheoneGod.Itwasoftenperceivedofasbeingtwocounter-rotatingspinningfieldsoflight.“Ka”referstospiritofanindividualperson.“Ba”referstothespirit’sperceptionofreality. InHebrew,itismorefrequentlyspelledas“merkabah”,anditisusuallytranslatedasmeaningachariot.Mostspecifically,itisusedbyEzekielwhenhedescribesanobjectheencountersthatiscomposedofacombinationofcelestialbeingsaswellasinterfacingwheels.ManyperceivethatthismerkabawasactuallysomesortofdiscshapedUFO.Inparticular,theHebrewwordmerkabahmaybeunderstoodasadevicecapableofcreatinganinter-dimensionalwheel. IntheHebrewtradition,themostpopularwayofcreatingthisinter-dimensionalfieldwasthroughtherepetitivechantingoftheTetragrammaton—theDivineName—a“secret”Kaballasticsound.TheDivineNamewassaidtobethepersonalnameofGodrevealedtoMosesonMt.Sinai.ItwasanamethatliterallybecamebannedintheBibleandthenbecamelost.Becausethetruesoundingwaslost,itwaschantedastheHebrewletters“Yod”,“Hey”,“Vav”and“Hey”.Thesoundingofthe

Nearly20yearsago,IreceivedasasacredrevelationonhowtointonetheDivineName.ThiswasnotasfourseparateHebrewconsonants“Yod,Hey,Vav,Hey”,butasaspecific,harmonicallyrelatedsequenceofvowelsthatwhensoundedresonatedfromthecrowntotherootchakraandthenbacktothecrown.ItbecameapparentthatthissoundwastheTetragrammaton,theDivineName,thelostnameofGod.ThisisthesoundIamintoningon“Merkaba of Sound”.Forthoseinterestedinmoreinformationonthissubject,mybookTHE DIVINE NAME:The Sound That Can Change the Worldisaboutthisdiscovery,andhowtolearntointonethissacredsound. Withinthelasttwodecades,utilizingtheEgyptianinterpretation,theword“merkaba”hascometobeunderstoodasthegeometricformofastartetrahedron–specifically,astartetrahedroncomposedoftwocounterrotatingfieldthatspinattheratioofphi(1.618).Mostfrequenctly,thevisualizationofaphiorientedcounter-rotatingstartetrahedronhasbecamesynonymouswiththetermmerkaba.MuchofthisistheresultoftheteachingsofDrunvaloMelchizedekandcanbeinhisbooksTHE ANCIENT SECRETS OF THE FLOWER OF LIFE. Thisrecordingof“Merkaba of Sound”utilizesboththeseconcepts;resonanceoftheDivineNameasanintonedsoundaswellasincorporatingphiasasonicratiotocreateanewexperienceinsacredvibrations.Itisapowerfultooltoaligntohigherlevelsofconsciousness.

“Merkaba of Sound”isaprojectI’vebeenworkingonformanyyears.Itiscomposedofthreedifferentsoniclayers.Thefirstlayeristhechantingofthe“Om”byLamaTashi,whoatthetimeofthisrecordingwasPrincipleChantMasteroftheDrepungLoselingMonastery.IntheHinduandTibetantradition,the“Om”isperceivedasbeingtheoriginalsoundofcreation—itis,ifyoulike,anEasternversionoftheDivineName.Inaddition,itissaidthatthesoundofthe“Om”createsthegeometricformoftheShriYantra,asacredvisualizationtool(calleda“mandala”).TheShriYantraisa2dimensionalrepresentationoftheStarTetrahedron.
Thesecondlayerof“Merkaba of Sound”iscomposedofdifferentfrequenciesthatcreateandmanifestthePhiratio.Asnotedearlier,thePhiratiois1.618andiscalledtheGoldenSectionorDivineProportion.This

ratioisfoundthroughoutnature,ineverythingfromtherelationshipoftheeye,finsandtailofthelengthofadolphin’sbody,whichallfallwithinthegoldensectiontothespiralpatternsoftheNautilusseashell.LeonardoDaVinci’s“VitruvianMan”displaysthisratioasdoesmuchofthesacredarchitecturethroughourplanet.Differentsacredgeometricformsemploysthephiratios,particularly,theStarTetrahedronandthecounter-rotatingfieldspinassociatedwithitsuseintoaffectsone’sspiritandbody BookshavebeenwrittenonthePhiRatio.Forthosewithfurtherinterest,pleasecheckouttheabundanceofmaterialthatisavailable.IfirstdiscoveredtherelationshipofthePhiratioandsoundinthelate1990’sthroughworkingwithspecificallycreatedtuningsforksthatmanifestedthisratio.Theeffectwasprofound—itsoundedtomeasifIcouldbothfeelanextraordinaryspiralingaswellasheartheAngelssing.Withregardto“Merkaba of Sound”nearlyeveryaudiblesoundhasbeencreatedtobeinPhirelationshiptoanothersoundontherecording. Thethirdlayerof“Merkaba of Sound”iscomposedoftheDivineName—theTetragrammatonwhichwasdiscussedearlier.ThereistheactualintonationoftheDivineNamewhichsoundsperiodicallythroughoutthisrecording.Inadditionisanothermostextraordinarysound—whatIrefertoasthe“BreathofGod”.ItisthevocalizationoftheDivineNameencodeduponthein-breathandoutbreath.ThismannerofvibratingtheDivineNameisanothermethodutilizedintheKaballastictraditionswhichcanbefoundinmanyteachings,includingthoseofAryehKaplanandhisbookMEDITATION AND KABALLAH.

Foruntoldcenturies,thesoundingoftheDivineNamehasbeenthemostcommonwayintheKaballisticTraditionofcreatingaMerkabainordertotraveltohigherlevelsofconsciousness.ForthosefocusedontheEgyptianperspectiveoftheMerkaba,itisinterestingtonotethatthereareteacherssuchasStephenMehler,authorofFROM LIGHT INTO DARKNESSwhosuggeststhatMoseswasactuallyahighpriestofAkhanton,thePharaohwhotriedtoinitiatethebeliefintheoneGod.ThisrelationshipsuggestsamajorinterfacebetweenHebrewKaballahandtheEgyptianMysticism.
Whetheroneisfocusedonamathematicalperspective,ageometricperspective,aspiritualperspectiveoraconsciousnessexpandingperspective;regardlessofwhetheroneiscomingfromaKaballistictradition,anEgyptiantraditionorsomeextraterrestrialtradition,“Merkaba of Sound”representsallthesetraditionsandperspectives.
