Introduction
• The traditional meals in Spain are Paella and Tapas.
• They also eat stews and cooked meats such as pork and lamb, which they eat with rice, potatoes, vegetables and salad.
• Spanish people also eat lots of sea food.• When I went to Spain I pulled the heads and
shells off my prawns!
Foods that grow in Spain
• Some of the things they grow in Spain are peaches, plums, oranges, olives and almonds.
• They can grow fruit and nuts because the weather is hot.
• Lots of grapes are grown in Spain so people eat them and they are made into wine.
• Sheep and pigs are farmed in Spain for their meat.

• Tapas is another traditional meal.• Tapas is lots of different meals in small portions.• You can have tapas to start a meal, as a snack or
in small portions for a whole meal.• Here are some examples of tapas Patatas
Bravas ( spicy potatoes )• Tortilla Espanola ( omelette )• Albondigas ( meatballs)

• Paella means frying pan.
