Medical transcriptionists listen to dictatedrecordings made by physicians and otherhealth care professionals and transcribesthem, creating medical reports that becomepart of patients’ permanent files.

Along with the medical transcription, thiscourse provides 60 hours of medicalterminology training in various modules.With the combination of medicaltranscription and medical terminology,students will be equipped to perform theinpatient case studies included in thisprogram and have the skills necessary to findan entry-level position as a medicaltranscriptionist.
