Using Manage My Profile
Have you ever wanted to peer into TREB’s files and double-check the e-mail address we have on record? Or, perhaps you would like to keep track of your CEUs and print out a Declaration of Continuing Education in time for your next renewal cycle. If so, you may wish to access the Manage My Profile link located on the Info Centre of TMLS. Using this link, you may:
• View/edit your profile• View/add/print your CEUs• View/edit some e-mail and security questions• View/add public open houses to www.REALTOR.ca and
www.torontorealestateboard.com
NOTE: If you have any problems accessing Manage My Profile, please contact the Help Desk at 416-443-8111. New Members in particular may encounter password barriers because their newly set up passwords may not have been updated yet.
Logging Into Manage My Profile
To access any of the functions in Manage My Profile:
1. From the Info Centre, click Manage My Profile. The Manage My Profile Welcome screen appears.

NOTE: Be sure to click Log Off when you are finished using Manage My Profile, especially if you are using a public/shared computer.
Viewing and Editing Your Profile
The Profile tab allows Members to access their own profile information as well as to edit/update some fields.
To access and edit your profile information:
1. Click the Profile tab at the top of any Manage My Profile screen. Your Profile appears.
2. Click Edit Profile.

3. Click into any field that you wish to edit and type.
a. To change your Primary address (usually your home address), click into the appropriate fields and type the relevant information.
b. To change your Roster e-mail address from a trebnet account to something else, click into the Roster e-mail field and type your preferred e-mail address. For example, [email protected]
NOTE: In order to completely change your e-mail address, you must also clear the Preferred E-mail Address field in Customize My TMLS. To do this, click the Info Centre tab, then click Customize My TMLS on the left sidebar. Scroll down the page until you see Preferred E-mail Address and delete any entered address. Then, scroll down further on the page and click Save. For more detailed instructions please see “Clearing your Preferred E-mail address” on page 17.
NOTE: Changing this e-mail address (in addition to clearing the Preferred E-mail Address in Customize My TMLS) will affect the following areas of TMLS:
• the business card on your listings • the Member Search on TMLS• the return address for Prospect Match e-mails• the address used when e-mailing yourself a copy
of listings• e-mailed inquiries sent from www.REALTOR.ca
and www.icx.ca.
c. To modify the default telephone number that appears on the Print View of TMLS reports and the e-mail signature of outgoing e-mails, click into the TMLS PrintView Ph# and type your preferred number.

NOTE: Check with your Broker regarding office policy on the subject of changing the Print View phone number.
4. Click the Click to Save button at the bottom of the screen.
Viewing and Editing Your Preferences
The Preferences tab of Manage My Profile provides Members with access to view and edit some e-mail, security, and miscellaneous fields. The security questions will be used for verification of future applications.
To access and edit your preferences:
1. Click the Preferences tab at the top of any Manage My Profile screen.
2. Click Edit Preferences.

3. Click the down arrow at the end of a field and select a question. For example, click the down arrow beside 1st Selected Question and select What is your mother’s maiden name?
4. Click into the 1st Response field and type your answer. For example, Jones. Repeat Steps 3-4 to make additional changes.
5. Click Submit.
Managing Your CEUs
The CEUs tab provides Members with the ability to view the number of CEUs they have accrued from courses taken through TREB since February 2004. Members may also report any additional CEUs acquired through non-TREB education providers, then print everything out on a Declaration of Continuing Education form.
NOTE: Remember to consider the renewal date of your RECO licence when you calculate applicable credits for your current RECO cycle.
Viewing TREB CEUs
If you would like to review a list of the courses that you have taken at TREB you may wish to do so using Manage My Profile.
To view CEUs from courses taken at TREB:

1. Click the CEUs tab at the top of any Manage My Profile screen. A list of courses taken at TREB appears. These can be printed and/or e-mailed.
NOTE: Not all of the CEU credits listed here can be used during this RECO renewal period. For this example, the Top Producer course credits from 2005 cannot be used because it was taken more than 2 years before Mr. Smith’s RECO Registration Expiry Date.
NOTE: If there is a discrepancy between the course credit record shown in Manage My Profile and the records retained in TREB’s Education Department, the latter will be considered accurate.
Recording your RECO Real Estate Update Course
It is advisable to record your RECO Real Estate Update course as well as any carry-forward credits from the previous renewal cycle.
To record your RECO Real Estate Update course:
1. Click the CEUs tab at the top of any Manage My Profile screen. A list of your current CEUs from TREB appears.
2. Click View/Add External CEUs.
3. At the end of the RECO Real Estate Update line, click Add.

4. Click the down arrows beside the Month, Day, and Year to select the exact date of your course. For example, October 5, 2007.
5. Click Add to Database. The previous screen reappears.
6. If you would also like to report any course credit hours to be carried over from the previous renewal cycle, at the end of the Other Course Information line, click Add.
7. Click the down arrows beside the Month, Day, and Year to select any date within your current registration cycle date. For example, since Mr. Smith’s RECO Registration Expiry Date is December 15, 2007, he can enter December 16, 2005.
8. Click into the Credit Hours field and type the number of credits you are permitted to carry-forward from your previous renewal cycle. For example, 8.
NOTE: To check the number of credit hours you are able to carry-forward, you may create an account on RECO’s website, www.reco.on.ca, to obtain an online record.
9. Click Add to Database.

Adding External CEUs
You can use Manage My Profile to report any additional CEUs you have acquired through non-TREB education providers.
To input non-TREB CEUs:
1. Click the CEUs tab at the top of any Manage My Profile screen. A list of courses taken at TREB appears.
2. Click View/Add External CEUs.
3. Click Add new Course.
4. Click into the Course/Seminar Title field and type in the name of the course. For example, Home Inspection Process.
5. Click into the Name of Course Provider field and type in the name of the non-TREB education provider. For example, Carson Dunlop.
6. Click the down arrows beside the Month, Day, and Year to select the exact date of your course. For example, October 10, 2007.
7. Click into the Credit Hours field and type a number. For example, 3.
8. Click Add to Database. The course appears in a new row on the View/Add External CEUs screen.

Reporting Your RECO Registration Expiry Date and Registration Number
To complete your record of CEUs in Manage My Profile, you must enter your RECO registration expiry date and RECO Registration Number. This is also required if you wish to print the Declaration of Continuing Education form.
To input your registration expiry date:
1. At the end of the RECO registration expiry date line, click Add.
2. Click the down arrows beside the Month, Day, and Year to select your RECO Registration Expiry Date. For example, December 15, 2007.
3. Click Update. The previous screen reappears.
4. At the end of the RECO Registration Number line, click Add.
5. Click into the field and type your RECO Registration Number.
6. Click Update.
Printing Your RECO Declaration Of Continuing Education
If you have been keeping track of your CEUs with Manage My Profile, you may wish to print out the RECO Declaration of Continuing Education form with the courses already on it. This form can be signed and submitted as part of your renewal process.

To print your RECO Declaration of Continuing Education form:
1. Click the CEUs tab at the top of any Manage My Profile screen.
2. Click RECO Credits. The Declaration of Continuing Education appears in .PDF format using Adobe Acrobat Reader.
NOTE: Only the courses taken within two years of the RECO registration expiry date will appear on the Declaration of Continuing Education form.
3. In the Menu bar, click File, then Print.
4. Click Print.
Viewing, Adding, and Editing Open Houses
The Open House tab located in Manage My Profile allows Members to advertise their public open houses on www.REALTOR.ca and

Viewing Your Open Houses
If you have already entered a series of open houses and would like to review or print them, you may do so from the Open Houses tab of Manage My Profile.
To view your public open houses:
1. Click the Open Houses tab at the top of any Manage My Profile screen. A list of your public open houses appear if you have already entered them.
TIP: To print the open house list, click Print this page.
Adding Open Houses
Any open houses that you add to Manage My Profile are uploaded onto the two websites where they can be searched and viewed by the general public. This makes the Manage My Profile’s Open House tab an

effective way to “get the word out” on your listings. It is important to remember, however, that only YOU can view, add, and edit your own open houses.
To add an open house:
1. Click the Open Houses tab at the top of any Manage My Profile screen.
2. Click Add Open Houses. Your listings appear.
3. Click the MLS# for the listing your wish to access. For example, C858991.
4. Click the down arrows under the Date, From Time, and To Time to select the relevant date and time for the open house.

5. To add a second open house date, click Add Another Open House. Repeat step 4 for each additional open house you wish to add to this listing.
6. Click Submit. A list of open house times and dates appear.
7. Click Go To MLS Listing. The previous screen reappears.
NOTE: Any public open house changes/additions are uploaded to www.torontorealestateboard.com within 10 minutes and www.REALTOR.ca between 24-48 hours.
Editing Your Open Houses
To edit an existing open house:
1. Click the Open Houses tab at the top of any Manage My Profile screen. A list of your open houses appear.
2. Click the MLS# of the open house you wish to edit. The details appear.
3. Click the calendar icon beside Open House Date to change the day.

4. Click the down arrow beside Time fields to make the desired changes.
5. Click Save Changes.

1. Click the Open Houses tab at the top of any Manage My Profile screen. A list of your open houses appears.
2. Put a check mark beside the open house you wish to remove.
3. Click Delete. A confirmation window appears.
4. Click OK.

Any open house additions made to Manage My Profile are uploaded to www.torontorealestateboard.com every 10 minutes and to www.REALTOR.ca between 24-48 hours.
To search for open houses on www.torontorealestateboard.com:
1. Using the Internet, go to www.torontorealestateboard.com
2. On the left sidebar, click Open House Listings.

Clearing your Preferred E-mail address
If you do not wish to use your trebnet email account, you may change your e-mail address in Manage My Profile and clear the Preferred E-mail address in Customize My TMLS. For detailed information on how to change your roster e-mail address in Manage My Profile, see “Viewing and Editing Your Profile” on page 2.

1. From the Info Centre, click Customize My TMLS.
2. Scroll down the page to the Enter Your Preferred E-mail Address section and clear it.
3. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save.
