WwF’s Possible Collaborative & Cooperative Peace Projects (1)
• Some Suggested Immediate Actions:1.Call on your governments to improve, or modify, or
completely change current educational systems that produce ‘consumers’ or ‘followers’.
2.Call on your governments to start using new educational programs that encourage collaboration and cooperation among children and learners in general through the use of teaching and learning strategies with critical thinking, like those based on the teaching method and approach of the Greek Philosopher, Socrates.
3.Call on your governments to think seriously, if they have not yet, of using new technology in schools. This new technology can help systems produce discoverers and long-life learners who are tolerant, patient, flexible, creative, able to avoid wars and make peace in the new IT age of the 21st century.
