Supply List

❖ Supplies are due in class by Monday August 5th.
Quizzes and Tests
•Assessments make up 80% of the total grade.
•Students who miss a quiz/test are given the equivalent of days absent to make it up. (ie: absent 2 days-2 days to make it up)
● Failure to make up a test/quiz will result in a ZERO!!!
•Quizzes are given at various times throughout the unit. Tests given at the end of each unit.
•Midterm (late January/early February) and a Final Exam (last two weeks of school)
Homework • Homework is 20% of the total grade.
• Will be assigned on a regular basis• Full credit will be given for homework based on
–Completed in its entirety–Legible–Finished before class begins
• Late homework is not accepted.

Persistent behaviors could result in conduct referral.
Technology● Use of laptops when appropriate and available for
vocabulary practice, test prep, and project work● Various applications can be used-Google Suite,
Kahoot, and Quizlet etc. ● Internet access is available in the library before
school and after school at learning lab for students who may not have access at home.
How to support your child?● Encourage your student to use agenda/planner for
writing down assignments and activities-7 Habits.● Nightly review of vocabulary and grammar concepts● Use of online resources found on teacher webpage● Expose your child to Spanish via music, books,
cultural events● Consistent attendance is crucial to success!!
