Due to stabilization of kharif and vegetable cultivation in Rabi & summer season, household level income has increased by Rs. 15,000 – Rs. 30,000 per year.
Drudgery of women (who used to walk far off for fetching water) has reduced significantly.
With help of the Forest dept., the height of the bunds rear the intake structure at Routraipur has been
increased thereby augmenting the storage capacity of the intake structure.
An amount of Rs. 9.66 lakh could be mobilized from Australian High Commission, New Delhi to set up two additional DBI structures in the same area.
