Lack of scope information
Tender documentation was vague and had very little detail about the structure
of the programme. Michael spoke with the various
disciplines to understand the activity and WBS
required for a major Civil Project
Client RelationsClient was not aware how the P6 programmeWould be developed to reflect the work accurately. Michael setup mini workshops with the client to provide support and counsel for the client and to help them better understand how P6 was used to build the tender programme.
P6 Programme IntegrationThe Tender programme was required to be integrated into the Clients database. Michael took the lead and setup the clients tender database.

had very little P6 experience and it was

Michael developed a 2 day training course and trained
up the senior Planner and helped him with his
workload.
Client RelationsClient was unhappy with the programmes they were receiving each month. Michael took responsibility of the information and provided support and quality checks of the P6 Programmes beofre they were issued to the client.
P6 Programme Baseline ManagementThe P6 baseline management was non-existent prior to Michaels appointment. Michael took ownership of the baseline development and built a relationship with the clients planning team to enforce baseline management

P6 Programme IntegrationCPO had a separate construction programme and were working stand alone and away from the site.Michael managed the programme integration of the PMO and CPO P6 programmes between site and the Planning Office
Project Planning StrategyThe PMO had no planning strategy or process. Michael developed both of these for this project and lead the implementation into the Clients PMO.

database for all of the projects to be stored. Provided the planning
team onto a central server location to upload their P6 Programmes and
access the software.
