Enter the total square footage of all unfinished basement spaces suitable for finishing.
A8
In each dwelling unit, the load shall be calculated at 1500 volt-amperes for each 2wire small appliance branch circuit required by 210.11(C)(1). These loads shall be permitted to be included with the general lighting load and subjected to the demand factors.
H11
Enter the quantity of 20 amp small appliance branch circuits installed. Note: Only 2 are required but if more than 2 are installed then ALL must be included in calculation.
A12
A load of not less than 1500va shall be included for each 2wire laundry branch circuit installed as required by 210.11(C)(2). This load shall be permitted to be included with the general lighting load and subject to the demand factors provided in Table 220.24.
H13
Enter the number of 20 amp laundry branch circuits. Note: Only 1 circuit is required.
A15
The demand factors specified in Table 220.42 shall apply to that portion of the total branch circuit load calculated for general illumination.
A20
The load for household electric dryers in a dwelling unit shall be either 5000watts or the nameplate rating, whichever is larger, for each dryer served.
H21
Enter the nameplate kilowattage.
A23
The load for household electric ranges, wall mounted ovens, counter mounted cooking units shall be calculated in accordance with table 220.55
H24
Enter the nameplate kilowattage of electric cooking appliance.
A28
Fixed electric space heating loads shall be calculated at 100% of the total connected load.
A29
Where it is unlikely that two or more noncoincident loads will be in use simultaneously, it shall be permissible to use only the largest loads that will be used at one time.
E30
Enter the nameplate wattage of electric heat. i.e., baseboard heat, electric wall heaters, floor heating cables, etc.
H30
Enter the Minimum Circuit Amps (MCA) on manufacturer's specs or unit nameplate based on the nominal line-line system voltage.
A34
Nameplate ratings of all appliances permanently connected, fastened in place or intended to be on specific branch circuits.
A36
Enter the quantity of each appliance or select from the drop down list.
B36
Enter a description of the appliance or select from the drop down menu.
D36
Enter the volt-amps, or watts of the appliance as given on appliance nameplate. FYI: volt-amps or watts equals the nameplate amps multiplied by the nameplate voltage. i.e., 6.9amps * 120Volts = 828volt-amps.
F36
Enter the quantity of each appliance or select from the drop down list.
G36
Enter a description of the appliance or select from the drop down menu.
I36
Enter the volt-amps, or watts of the appliance as given on appliance nameplate. FYI: volt-amps or watts equals the nameplate amps multiplied by the nameplate voltage. i.e., 6.9amps * 120Volts = 828volt-amps.
A46
A 75% demand value is allowed where 4 or more of the above appliances are fastened in place, other than electric ranges, clothes dryers, air conditioning or space heating equipment. If applicable, the demand reduction will be calculated automatically.
A47
