IN-PLANT TRAINING
During their tenure in the College, students get exposure to
academic environment which is different from the industry
environment, wherein they are expected to be placed. To get this
exposure, students are directed to undergo in-plant training in
reputed industries in their respective area of interest, during
their course of study. This gives wide exposure about the various
functions of the Industries prior to the completion of their
studies.
The In-plant training cell of our department in collaboration
with various industries arranges In-plant training to interested
students during their summer and winter vacations. During the
course of the training, students are expected to maintain a log of
their activity and learning.
At the end of the training, a report along with a completion
certificate from the industry where he/she had received the
training is to be submitted to the training coordinator for
evaluation within 10 days of the commencement of the semester
in which the student has registered for the in-plant training.
