Steps for Creating a Product Structure in SAP

Tutorial Goal
Create a basic product structure in the PSM module. Product structures are used to support the product development
process. PSM can manage the product structures that contain many components and their variants.
Product structures can be built and maintained without any associated material masters
Discover the various fundamental node types that are required in the construction of the product structure

Select Product Structures

Under the Product Structure heading choose: Create Product Structure
Select a Node Type

Select Product Family for Node Type. This node represents the top level of the product structure and defines the product that you are developing.
Select a Node

Enter Street_Bike in the Node field. Street Bike is a member of the Product Family.
Select Class_BikeX for the Class
Create Product View

Highlight product structure Street_Bike
Select the Items button

Select View (PVS) from Node Type
Enter the Name for the Node (FRAME COMPONENTS)
Enter the Description (FRAME COMPONENTS)
Create a Product Item

Select the Items button
Select Create
Select a Node Type
