THE CONTRACTOR SHALL PERFORM HIGH-QUALITYPROFESSIONAL WORK, USING ONLY WORKMEN WHO ARESKILLED AND EXPERIENCED IN THE SPECIFIC TASKS REQUIRED.JOIN MATERIALS TO UNIFORM ACCURATE FITS SO THEY MEETWITH NEAT STRAIGHT LINES. INSTALL EXPOSED MATERIALSAPPROPRIATELY LEVEL, PLUMB, AND AT ACCURATE RIGHTANGLES, OR FLUSH WITH ADJOINING MATERIALS.
10. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL ARRANGE TO ACCOMMODATE “NOT IN CONTRACT” WORK. WHEN INFORMATION IS INADEQUATE,REQUEST FURTHER INSTRUCTION BEFORE PROCEEDING.
11. SHOP DRAWINGSA. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL SUBMIT SHOP DRAWINGS, PRODUCT DATA,
AD/OR SAMPLES AS REQUIRED TO EXPLAIN WORK ALL TRADES.B. ARCHITECT SHALL REVIEW SHOP DRAWINGS AND SAMPLES WITH
REASONABLE PROMPTNESS SO AS TO CAUSE NO DELAY. SUCHREVIEW IS ONLY FOR CONFORMITY TO THE DESIGN CONCEPT FOR THEPROJECT AND WITH THE INFORMATION GIVEN IN THE CONTRACTDOCUMENTS. THE REVIEW OF A SEPARATE ITEM SHALL NOT INDICATE AREVIEW OF AN ASSEMBLY IN WHICH THE ITEM FUNCTIONS. SHOPDRAWINGS THAT CONTAIN EXCESSIVE ERRORS OR THAT AREINCOMPLETE WILL BE RETURNED FOR RE-SUBMITTAL, AND ANY DELAYTHEREBY WILL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CONTRACTOR.

3. LABORATORY TEST DATA4. COMPARISON OF THE QUALITIES OF THE PROPOSED SUBSTITUTIONS WITH THAT
SPECIFIED.5. CHANGES REQUIRED IN OTHER ELEMENTS OF THE WORK BECAUSE OF
SUBSTITUTION.6. EFFECT ON THE CONSTRUCTION SCHEDULE.7. DETAILED COST DATA ACCEPTABLE TO THE ARCHITECT COMPARING THE
PRODUCT SUBSTITUTION WITH THE PRODUCT SPECIFIED.8. ANY REQUIRED LICENSING FEE OR ROYALTIES9. AVAILABILITY OF MAINTENANCE SERVICE AND SOURCE OF REPLACEMENT
MATERIALS.14. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL UPON COMPLETION REMOVE ALL PAINT
FROM WHERE IT HAS SPILLED, SPLASHED, OR SPLATTERED ONSURFACES, INCLUDING LIGHT FIXTURES, DIFFUSERS, REGISTERS, FITTING, ETC., BEFORE PAINTING, PROTECTING AND REPLACING SAMEWHEN PAINTING IS COMPLETE.
15. APPLICATION FOR ALL PAINTED SURFACES SHALL BE NOT LESS THANA TWO-COAT SYSTEM, UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED, USING THECOMPLETE PAINT SYSTEM (SEALER, PRIMER, FINISH COAT, ETC.) ASRECOMMENDED BY THE PAINT MANUFACTURER AND “THE MODERNGUIDE TO PAINTING SPECIFICATION, “LATEST EDITION, AS A MINIMUMSTANDARD.
16. CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR FIELD INSPECTION OF THESURFACES TO RECEIVE PAINT AND ASSURING THAT SUCH SURFACESARE ACCEPTABLE FOR APPLICATION PRIOR TO INITIATING ACTUALWORK. NO PAINT OR FINISH SHALL BE APPLIED ON ANY SURFACEWHICH IS UNFINISHED, NOT PROPERLY PREPARED OR OTHERWISE NOTFULLY ACCEPTABLE FOR THE FINISH APPLICATION. ALL ROUGHNESSOR OTHER IRREGULARITIES THAT MAY APPEAR AFTER PRIMING SHALLBE THOROUGHLY SANDED OUT OR OTHERWISE CORRECTED TOPROVIDE A SMOOTH, EVEN SURFACE FOR PAINTING AND FINISHING.FINISHED APPLICATION AND WALL APPEARANCE SHALL BE FREE ORSURFACE AND COLOR IRREGULARITIES. BY FINISHING THESESURFACES, THE FINISH CONTRACTOR ACCEPTS THE RESPONSIBILITYOF THE FINAL PRODUCT.
17. CONTRACTOR SHALL TAKE CARE TO PROTECT EXISTING FINISHEDSURFACES, MILLWORK, HARDWARE, EQUIPMENT AND FIXTURES WHICHARE TO REMAIN.
18. CONTRACTOR SHALL TAKE CARE TO PROTECT NEWLY INSTALLEDMATERIALS, MILLWORK, BUILT-INS AND FINISHES.
19. THE CONTRACTOR AND HIS SUBCONTRACTOR SHALL TURNOVER THEPROJECT TO THE OWNER.
A. FREE FROM ALL CONSTRUCTION DEBRIS, SCRAPES, MATERIALS ANDEQUIPMENT.
B. ALL INTERIOR GLASS FREE FROM ALL MANUFACTURE’S LABELS, FINGERPRINTS,ETC., AND CLEANED ON BOTH SIDES.
C. ALL MILLWORK DOORS AND BUILT-INS WIPED DOWN AND FREE DIRT, GREASEAND OTHER FOREIGN MATERIALS.
D. ALL RESILIENT TILE FLOORS CLEANED AND WAXED.E. ALL VINYL WALLCOVERING FREE OF DIRT AND OTHER FOREIGN MATERIALS.20. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL REFER TO THE CONTRACT DOCUMENTS IN
THEIR ENTIRETY WHEN DETERMINING THE SPECIFIC LOCATIONS OFFIXTURES, RECEPTACLES AND EQUIPMENT. SHOULD ANYDISCREPANCIES OR AMBIGUITIES APPEAR AMONG THE CONTRACTDOCUMENTS, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL NOTIFY THE ARCHITECT IMMEDIATELY FOR CLARIFICATION.
21. FINAL CLEAN UPA. GLASS: BOTH SIDES OF GLASS SHALL BE CAREFULLY AND THOROUGHLY
CLEANED BY PROFESSIONAL WINDOW CLEANERS AND LEFT ABSOLUTELY CLEANAND FREE PAINT, LABELS, GREASE, DIRT, ETC.
