Folks laughed when chainsaw magnate Robert McCullough paid $2.4 million
for 140-year-old London Bridge, then transported it to, of all places, the Ari-
zona desert. They aren’t laughing
now, since London Bridge is a major
tourist stop, drawing people from
all over to visit Lake Havasu City.
Of course, this desert commu-
nity is about more than a British
bridge. It’s a playground for water
fun on its namesake lake.
Stretching 19 miles, Lake
Havasu has been called a fishing paradise. If you don’t travel with a rod and reel,
the lake is also ideal for boating, water-skiing, swimming or just floating. Back
on shore, the city of Lake Havasu has three golf courses, fine dining and plenty
of shopping opportunities.
Colorado River Adventures, the parent company of Lave Havasu RV Park,
promises you the best RV camping experience. They deliver with 24-hour secu-
rity, planned activities and barbecues, a sparkling clean swimming pool, a beau-
tiful clubhouse, horseshoes, shuffleboard and a friendly staff willing to go the
extra mile to make sure you have a great time.
Lake Havasu RV Park has 88 full-hookup RV sites, with a maximum RV
length of 40 feet. The park is open from September 15 to May 15 for fun in the
Arizona sun.
Who said you have to
cross the Atlantic Ocean to
see London Bridge? Not so.
Just head toward Arizona,
specifically the Olde English
Village just minutes from
Lake Havasu RV Resort.
