What’s Happening?
In our maths lessons last week we were lots of fun drawing and creating tessellation patterns from 2D shapes. We explored how shapes and patterns are
created in nature with the honeycomb hexagon shape tessellation made by bees. Then we made our own!
A number of students from 3-4x tend the school garden each week, watering, weeding and planting seedlings. The fresh produce is sent to the Canteen to use in our fresh lunches.
3-4x are engaging in some inquiry-based learning and project work. Each fortnight the class watch Behind the News (BTN) students choose a topic that is of interest to them from the BTN episode. Students then research and report on their chosen topic over two weeks. Here are some examples of student work.
