Principal’s Report
Week six sees us completing our Eisteddfod items for Years 3 & 4 and 5/6 (Verse Speaking) at the Shoalhaven Entertainment Centre. It is always a great experience for our students to perform on a big stage, bright lights on and a large audience space to perform within. Our students did a great job and we came away with a first place and a highly commended today. Thanks Mrs Robinson, and the parents who could make it to the performance.
Our two Year five and six debating teams will be hosting Nowra Public School this Thursday for the first round of the Premier’s Debating
Challenge and next Friday they will travel to Illaroo Rd Public School for the second round of
their debating.
Our Year 3 to 6 students have been busy writing their Multicultural Public
Speeches to present to their peers. We will send two representatives off to Bowral Public School
for the regional finals on Friday 22nd June.
Mrs Delmenico has had the students working tocreate papier-mâché animals in art classes and
it has been a great process to observe.
Year 2/3 JG are looking forward to presenting their assembly this Wednesday and EVERYONE
is looking forward to Gymnastics on Friday. As it is a long weekend this weekend we will see
you all back on Tuesday.Andrew Smee - Principal
P&C Meeting – The P&C will be meeting in the school library this Friday at 8.30. See you there,
all welcome. We are looking forward to providingsoup at pub the bonfire night as a school
fundraiser, this Saturday. I’ll be bringing the family and some friends .
International Association Educational Assessment.Exams for students Years 3-6, students in Year 2 can enter these exams. Those wishing to enter these competitions should bring in their money to the office before the closing dates.

We are aiming to replace the milk/juice poppers with reusable/washable cups by next term. I am also looking at reducing the amount of single use plastics the canteen generates, and will hopefully come up with some alternatives to buying individual packets of snacks at recess.
