PESA's New master controlsolution
To demonstrate its commitment to thebroadcast industry, PESA has developedthe new MC-Lite Master Control Switch-ing solution. This new system is a com-pact, low-cost, multi -channel SDTV Mas-ter Control Switcher and is available witha wide range of processor and controlpanel options. Multi -channel, multi -for-mat and central casting operations ben-efit from the modular nature of the MC-Lite, allowing each channel to be fittedwith only the appropriate amount of pro-cessing power required. Multiple proces-sors and control panels can be arrangedin any combination, and up to 16 chan-nels can be controlled from a single con-trol panel or from station automation. With the increased reliance on station au-tomation in today's broadcast plant, achoice of manual control panels are avail-able, each with increasing levels of func-tionality to reduce the replication of ex-isting in -plant systems such as machiningcontrol and signal monitoring.
PESA's UCI2000
PESA has recently expanded its UCI2000product line to include another versionof the multi-lingual Universal Control In-terface. This new UCI2000P now providesprotocol translation bi-directionally withPhilips routing systems. Either a PESA orPhilips control system can talk to a com-bination of matrices, helping to preserveany existing investments in routers whenexpanding with PESA routers. The UCI se-ries also offers control interfacing toDiTech and SONY products, with other in-terfaces currently in development.
PESA's Ocelot 8x8
Building off of the successful Ocelot lineof routing switchers, PESA now offers theOcelot OC88HD. This high definition rout-ing switcher is configured for eight (8) in-put and eight (8) outputs and is perfectfor the economical transition to HD.
PESA's Cheetah
The new Cheetah isa full feature digitalrouting switcherwith the power tohandle SDI andHDTV, as well asother non-standarddigital signals, in thesame frame. Bothcopper and fiber in-put and outputmodules are avail-able for maximumflexibility and fourstandard frame sizes are offered, the64x64, 128x128, 256x256 and the 512x512.
PESA's Si.nal Conversion Cards
PESA introduced two new modular con-version cards for the VDA3100 productline. The VADD3101-10 provides excellent10bit video A -D conversion from NTSC/PALto serial digital component video and theVDAE3101-10 offers similar quality for10bit serial digital D -A conversion to NTSC/PAL/RGB or YpbPr.

A new form...A lot has been learned since the first LECTRO wireless mic appeared27 years ago. The knowledge gained during this time has beerenhanced by computerized encineering and microprocessorcontrol. The result is a new form for high -end receivers. LegendaryLECTRO re iability combines with a powerful LCD operator interfaceto provide outstanding performance. A single glance at thereceiver will tell you what you need to know about RF and audiolevels, transmitter and receiver battery levels and squelch status. This is the new form of professional wireless receivers.
The new reality...DTV broadcasts are the new reality. They occupy RF spectrum andmake it far more difficult to find clean operating frequencies forlow powered devices like wireless mics, IFB and intercom. The needto find clear channels has never been more acute.
A new function...A built-in spectrum analyzer lets you perform a complete RF siteanalysis with the wireless receiver itself to find a clear channel. With only a few button presses, you can scan a 25.6 MHz band, finda clear channel, and get to work providing outstanding audio.
LECTFO
The receivers that make it happen...The receivers pictured here range from a high value modeldesigned for corporate and event v.ideo.graphy (UCR201) to theadvanced digital hybrid model (UCR411) designed for the mostdemanding applications in broadcast and motion pictureproduction. The Digital Hybrid Wireless' is simply the mcstadvanced wireless microphone available. Pure digital audio.Hybrid RF link. Simply great.
An expanded family of transmitters...A complete family of transmitters lets you use any microphone you prefer or need. You can use the familiar 100mW and 250mW belt -packs for electret lavalier mics, dynamic mics and line level inputs up to +20dBu. A new 100 mW plug -on model withselectable 5,15 and 48 volt phantom power will handle any high current condensermicrophone. A new miniature, stainless steel, watertight transmitter for electretlavalier mics is available in analog and digital hybrid versions to match any receivermodel. This is the power of flexibility.
