President’s Message Prem Singh Judge
Waheguru ji ka Khalsa, Waheguru ji ki Fateh
Guru Pyari Saad Sangat Ji,
Firstly my deepest condolences to the families who have lost
their dear ones over the past few months. We have lost some very senior and
devout members and May their souls rest at Wahegurujis feet.
On a happier note we have also witnessed a few weddings and new arrivals.
SAWA EXCO has organized quite a few external programs to raise awareness
and profile of our community, namely Vasakhi Mela, Busselton Bus-trip, Dawn
service at Cannington and most recently annual tribute to ANZACS of Indian
origin War hero’s at Kings Park. Let us also do our part to always uphold and
raise our image in the wider community.
By the Grace of Waheguru Ji, our Sangat has grown & new needs have arisen
which has added a lot more workload for the Management Committee.
It is our humble appeal to the Saad Sangat to please come forward and
volunteer yourselves for SEWA.
The building is now ready and will be commissioned shortly. We will have a
new indoor wash area, an additional patio area, new and separate toilets for
gents, 3 classrooms, new office, and accommodation for visiting ragis,
improving facilities for sangat at large.
A few house rules that need to be revisited:
Parents are kindly requested to control their children in the Darbar Sahib as it
is our duty to ensure that the sanctity of SGGS ji and Golak Sahib is always
maintained .
Langar Sewa for morning breakfast is from 9.00am till 10.00am and in the
afternoon from 11.30 till 1.30pm only.
Kindly observe these hours as the sewadars who are there from 5.30am till 3pm
need to clean up the Gurudwara Sahib and kitchen.
Langgar Hall may only be used for religious services, birthday parties or such
events will not be allowed. We have received lots of complaints about the
disrespect of this principle so all future bookings will have to comply to the
requirement specified on the booking form.
Please comply with speed limits in the Gurdwara complex at all times for the
safety of children and the elderly.
I am sure with your cooperation we can make our Gurudwara Sahib truly a place
of spiritual bliss. Thanking You.
Kind Regards.
