Benefits The TSRC will provide vehicles with an alternative crossing of the existing Toowoomba Range, which will improve driver safety and relieve pressure on local roads. •  The TSRC will bypass up to 18 sets of traffic lights (depending on the route). •  Travel time will be reduced by up to 40 minutes for heavy vehicles. •  Almost 80% of heavy and super-heavy commercial vehicles will be re-

directed away from the existing crossing and out of the Toowoomba CBD. •  An improved road grade of 6.5% will improve road safety and improve travel

efficiencies. •  The TSRC will improve freight efficiency and increase economic activity in

the region by $2.4 billion over 30 years.

Interchange to Warrego Highway West •  Grade-separated interchanges at

Warrego Highway West, Toowoomba-Cecil Plains Road and Gore Highway

•  A grade-separated connection to Mort Street in Toowoomba
