A What a waste of time! I'm much too busy this week, so you'll have to deal with it yourself.
B They could've told me earlier! I've got a very busy week. Could you handle it please, Laura?
C No way, I simply don't have time. On the other hand, you could do it.
D Interesting – well, you know as much about it as I do now, Laura. How would you feel about making the presentation yourself?

Before you watchIn groups of three, role play a meeting between a sales manager and an insurance salesperson.
Speaker A You are a good seller, but you find it difficult to keep up with your paperwork. You work late in the evening, when it's easier to contact clients, so you tend to arrive a little later in the morning than your colleagues.
Speaker B You have already asked A to arrive on time and to keep their paperwork up to date, but they are still arriving late and not doing the paperwork. You have asked A to speak to you in your office. Make it clear that their performance must improve and try to find a solution.
Speaker C You are a consultant: observe the interview and give A and B feedback on their people skills when they have finished.
