Harrogate Theatre is looking for 3 mixed teams of girls and boys to take part in our traditional family pantomime, Beauty and the Beast, as chorus

dancers. To be part of the pantomime company you need to be at least 13 years old by 28th November 2018 and be available for ALL rehearsals and performances.

Please make sure you can answer ‘yes’ to the following if you would like to audition:

• I am at least 13 years old by 28 November 2018 and under the age of 18 on 20 January 2019• I am able to attend rehearsals from 29 October - 17 November (will include some Saturday

mornings) and I am prepared to work longer hours if necessary.• I am able to attend technical and dress rehearsals during tech week (week beginning 19

November). This will involve taking time off school.• I am able to perform on various dates from 28 November 2018 to 20 January 2019 (approx. 23

performances). This will involve taking time off school and working over the Christmas and New Year holidays.

• I take full responsibility for getting myself to and from all rehearsals and performances.

We are unable to offer any payment to pantomime dancers, but it would give you the chance to be part of a professional company working in a professional theatre. Panto

is a wonderful experience and lots of fun, but it does require a serious commitment from you.

Sophie Zealand, Choreographer, will be holding auditions for dancers on Saturday 1st September at 2.30pm at

Harrogate Theatre. If you are interested and can answer ‘yes’ to all of the above, please complete the audition

form which you can download on our website or request from our Box Office.
