PUBLIC NOTICE REGARDING PET FOR THE POST OF FIREOPERATOR(POST CODE-18/19)

In continuation of Notice No55(1498)/DSSSB/EXAM/2019/2610-14 dated 21/11/2019 andfurther Notice vide No 55(1498)/DSSS~/ EXAM/2019/ 3651-54dated 27 / 12/2019 regarding conduct of Physical Endurance Test forthe post of Fire Operator(Post Code-18/ 19) of the Delhi Fire ServicesGovt of NCT of Delhi from 11/01/2020 onwards at Sports ComplexEast Vinod Nagar, Mayur Vihar Phase-II and w.e.f. 03/02/2020 atChhatrasal Stadium Model Town Delhi, it is brought to the notice ofall aspirant candidates who had applied for the aforesaid post code,the following procedure shall be followed during the PET:

1. After the entry of the candidate in the scheduled time hiscredentials shall be verified and attendance etc will be takenand thereafter he will be issued BIB no.

2. Candidates will be taken in group at a designated place for 800Meter race event.

3. Candidates who fail to" qualify 800 race in a MinimumQualification Standard i.e. 800 Meter race in 200 secondsprescribed shall be declared disqualified in race event and shallnot be allowed to take part in the next events and shall be sentout of examination center i.e. from the stadium concerned.Further, the candidates who will qualify in the race event willproceed in a group for long jump event at the designated placefor long jump.

4. At the long jump event, candidates will be given three attemptsto jump. Candidates who fail to qualify minimum qualificationstandard for long jump i.e. 2.80 meters prescribed shall bedeclared disqualified in long jump event and shall not beallowed to take part in the next event and shall be sent out ofexamination center i.e. from the stadium concerned.

5. Candidates who qualifies long jump" event will be awarded scorepoints according to their performance and shall proceeded forhigh jump event at designated place for High Jump event.

6. Each qualified candidate will be asked to take High Jump to theMinimum Qualification Standard i.e. for 0.80 metersprescribed. For this candidates will be given only one attempt.No request for another attempt shall be considered in anycircumstances.

7. Candidates who fail to qualify minimum qualification standardfor High Jump i.e. 0.80 meters prescribed shall be declareddisqualified in High Jump event and shall not be allowed totake part further and shall be sent out of examination centeri.e. from the stadium concerned.

8. Candidates who will qualify minimum qualifying height i.e. 0.8meter shall be asked to give only three options in writing out ofthe following as per his preference on which the candidateintends to jump:

9. Candidate will be allowed only one attempt against each ofoption of height selected by him. Candidates can give only oneopt~on for each height.

10. However if the candidate fails to clear the first/ second selectedheight as the case may be, candidate will not be allowed to takepart in second/third selected height as he case may be, choosenby the candidate and the candidate will be awarded score pointson the basis of his last successful attempt made by him.
