THE WORLD’S BEST JUNIOR SYNCHRONIZED SKATING TEAMS
TO COMPETE IN NOTTINGHAM
The ISU World Junior Synchronized Skating Championships® 2020 will be held in Nottingham at the Motorpoint Arena Nottingham on 13 – 14 March 2020. A total of 24 teams representing 19 ISU Member countries have entered the sixth edition of the Championships, to compete for the title currently held by Team Junost Junior of Russia.

Teams from all over the world including Australia, Canada, Croatia, Czech Republic,
Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain, Hungary, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Poland,
Russia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey and USA will meet in Nottingham to take
part in the Short Program on the Friday and Free Skating on the Saturday.
The teams consisting of 16 skaters per group will work together to deliver highly
technical performances characterised by speed, precision, formations made in perfect
unison, difficult footwork, spectacular lifts and exciting transitions.
Donna Gately, General Manager of the Motorpoint Arena Nottingham and National Ice
Centre said “It’s a huge privilege to host the ISU World Junior Synchronized Skating
Championships® 2020 here in Nottingham. We have been working closely with the
ISU and partners across the city to prepare for the event and ensure all skaters
receive a warm welcome to Nottingham and the Motorpoint Arena. The
Championships which are open to the public to attend, are set to bring spectacular
performances sure to impress regular skating enthusiasts and anyone with an interest
in ice sports.”
Tickets for the Championships are on sale now, with prices starting from £25.00.
All prices listed include admin and facility fees. Group tickets and private suite
packages are also available.
