The Plan of Saint Gall is a famous medieval architectural drawing of a monastic compound dating from the early 9th century. It is preserved in the Stiftsbibliothek Sankt Gallen, Ms 1092.It is the only surviving major architectural drawing from the roughly 700-year period between the fall of the Roman Empire and the 13th century

Chi – Rho formed by superimposing the first two (capital) letters chi and rho (ΧΡ) of the Greek word "ΧΡΙΣΤΟΣ" =Christ in such a way to produce the monogram . Although not ☧technically a cross, the Chi Rho invokes the crucifixion of Jesus as well as symbolizing his status as the Christ.
