INVEST IN

OUR FUTURE

SUSTAIN CURRENT SERVICES

OUR GOALS

IMPROVE & BUILD UPON SERVICES

PROVIDE SERVICES TO MORE FAMILIES

Over the past 20 years, Boys & Girls Clubs of Kennebec Valley has been a

vital community resource, serving over 20,000 children and acting as the

area’s recreation department and community center. A new, efficient,

multi-functional facility will ensure the Club will be able to continue

providing services for years to come.

Redevelopment of the facility will increase the capacity of each program,

welcoming 50% more children in the Early Childhood program and 35%

more in the School-Age and Teen programs.

The new facility will position BGCKV’s Early Childhood and School-Age

programs for national accreditation, ensuring children are well-equipped

when entering Kindergarten and offered well-rounded educational

opportunities based on STEAM principles. A full campus redevelopment

will also enhance the area’s youth and high school sports programs.

This project will strengthen families, build community, and support

economic development throughout Kennebec Valley by providing

safe, high-quality, and affordable programs to more children within

a multi-functional campus that meets the needs of the community.

Together We Can!

Boys & Girls Clubs of Kennebec Valley

established its $10M Great Futures

Capital Campaign to address the urgent

and immediate needs of the organization.

Since 2003, the Club has operated youth

and community programming within the

existing footprint of a repurposed

elementary school. Due to the age and

space constraints of the facility, the

organization is now at maximum capacity

and faces the challenges of structural

disrepair, antiquated mechanical systems

and failing equipment.

The successful completion of this capital

campaign will result in a full campus

redevelopment, including a new, larger

Clubhouse facility and a properly

engineered sports field to support youth

and high school sports programs.
