Some Important Points

• Browser settings should not be a problem if accessing from campus

• Turn off pop-up blocking

• If pop-ups are a problem on home computer might need a spyware removal program

How do I log in?

• Username = 8 digit Mercer ID

• Password = birth date in format YYMMDD– For example 721018

• You can resent your password after your first log in.

The Menu Bar

• myWebCT: Allows you to see a list of courses in which you are registered

• Resume Course: Allows you to resume your place in the Content Module

• Course Map: Allows you to view the structure of the entire course on one page. The course elements are hyperlinks, enabling you to go to any place in the course from a single page. This tool simplifies navigation and is especially useful for courses with a large number of elements.

• Help: Links to the context-sensitive online Help.

Navigation Bar

• Show/Hide Navigation Toggle: Hides the Navigation Bar and expands the Content Area

• Course Tools: Serves as a course menu and provides access to the most important components of your course.
