Executive Summary:
I did internship in KAIZAAN ENTERPRISES which is basically a firm which mostly
deal in telecom sector but there are some projects which includes about
construction, supply of materials, networkings etc. The duration of my internship is
one year (March 31st 200 to March 30th 2010)
KAIZAAN ENTERPRISES is a growing firm and the company is increasing its assets
every day. The firm has tough competition because from the previous two to three
years many new firms and companies are coming in this field.
All the four departments which are finance department, human resource
management, administration department and Procurement department are working
in the firm. But finance department is a major department in the firm.
I performed as an MTO in Finance department with Kaizaan Enterprises, my
experience at Kaizaan Enterprises was completely based on the finance and
accounts, in the first six months I worked on Accounts of the firm, which gave me the
exposure of maintaining daily basis accounts and petty cash records in addition to
that I worked on Project costing and forecasting of monthly expenses which is all
related to finance and I applied the latest techniques to learn more about practical
finance by attending meetings with seniors and charted accountant of the firm. I
worked in different dimensions, like Internal audit, payments and receipts of bills,
Invoicing for the clients, making of Cash and bank payment vouchers in different
scenarios of payments and receipts with the aspect of Bank reconciliation and
worked on two different accounting soft wares which really enhanced my working
experience, organizational politics and terms were also the part of my working
experience and learning.

Pakistans mobile market gained nearly 9.9mn new customers in the first
half of 2008, expanding by 12.6% to reach 88.05mn mobile users.
Although the rise in the number of mobile subscribers has been
extremely rapid over the last nine quarters, it now looks as though a
slowdown in growth has set in. By the end of June 2008, mobile
penetration in Pakistan had surpassed the 50% threshold.
For years, Pakistan's telecom sector has plodded along, seemingly
stuck in the mid-20th century. From 2.1 phones per 100 Pakistanis in
1999, the number of fixed lines has crept up to just 2.9 per 100 today.
And while cellular has been more dynamic, only about 5% of Pakistanis
have cell phones.

Identificationofa main problem:
Kaizaan Enterprises is a small firm so that is why there are many
problems: I noted the following main problems in the organization which
are the following:
There is a lack of co-ordination
There is a problem of decision making
All the authority is centralized
No proper office environment
There is no consultant
Findings:
I find that the firm is making a good profit every year. And also increase
the market share in every year and now is going in construction sector
which is also a good sign for the company. Because there is a lot of
demand and supply gap in the construction sector in Pakistan. The firm
can easily earn a huge profit with this step. The staff of Kaizaan
Enterprises and well qualified and trained which is good for the
organization. Main concern of the organization is services.
