BACKGROUND
Since 2014, the IAB US Mobile Marketing Center ofExcellence in conjunction with the IAB offices around theworld, generated the initiative to publish global studies withthe aim of generating key data to compare and contrastthe role of mobile devices in the life of Internet usersworldwide. The 2018 global IAB research aims to build onexisting insights and further examine the live videostreaming behavior.

2018 EDITIONPast global IAB studies have illuminated the prevalence of digital video acrossinternational IAB countries. The 2018 global IAB research aims to build on existinginsights and further examine the live video streaming behavior.
The key objective is to gain understanding of consumer’s live streamingexperience and attitudes including usage of devices (mobile, desktop,connected TV) and platforms (social, skinny bundle, etc.), motivations, contentpreference (sports, news, events, eSports, UGC, etc.), as well as their perceptionsof advertising experience during live video streaming.
The research will provide brand marketers and publishers a global benchmark andinsights into the value of live streaming to engage and connect with audiences aroundthe world.
METHODOLOGY
§ Online Survey for 200 mobile users per country (smartphone or tablet)§ 12 to 15 participant countries§ 18 years old and older§ Balance by mobile user profile in each country§ No more than 10 minutes long, no more than 24 questions
