Curricular learning outcomes : The learner can develop an interest in reading such stories. The learner can develop

a respect towards the older people in the society.

Content analysis : Madhavikutty is an internationally known poet, short story writer and novelist, who

writes effortlessly both in English and Malayalam. It is a short story of an aged

mother, who losts her memory and cannot recognize his son, who reached there for

his share.

Pre requisites : Learn may read such stories with similar themes.
