Minutes of the 27th Annual General Body meeting of Indian College Of Physicians
A Meeting of the 27th Annual General Body Meeting of ICP was held on 28th January 2016 at Hyderabad. There was no quorum and hence the meeting was adjourned for 15 minutes. The meeting was called to order at 4.15 p.m. by Dr. Rajesh Upadhyay the President of API and Chairperson of Indian College of Physicians. He welcomed all the Fellows of the Indian college of Physicians and invited the Dean Dr. K.K. Pareek to conduct the proceedings of the meeting. Dean Dr. Pareek thanked Dr. Rajesh Upadhyay and welcomed at the fellows of ICP.

already circulated and went through the same page by page No. 32 to 34 was passed; proposed by Dr. Siddharth Shah and seconded by Dr. B. B. Thakur.

Dean Dr. KK Pareek informed that with the help of President Elect and ChairmanScientificCommitteeDr.GSWandertheybroughtthebooksProgress in Medicine in one volume and two volumes of Medicine Update on time and it is circulated to all the delegates before reaching to this APICON.
This time a large number of CMEs were organized, as we all know that ICP is the BACKBONE of academic programmes of API and thus the CMEs are the LIFELINE of ICP. We conducted these CME’s aggressively throughout the country [Rajasthan, Delhi, Kolkata, Puri, Siliguri, Silchar (Asam), Imphal, Agartala (Tiripura), Ahmadabad, West Bengal, Jamshedpur ( Jharkhand), Barrackpur, Naihati, Chinsura, Kasauli] & wehavealreadyconducted131CME’s throughdifferentprogrammes(68CME’s and rest 63CME programmes in different activities likeABPM, DFEP, Diabetes Summit, KPG, UpFront, ECGCON, Diacon, Raj APICON, Insulin Summit, etc in the entire country.

I convey my gratitude to the senior professors & doctors for editing the monographs & getting released in time. Last but not the least I express my very sincere thanks to all the fellows & API members across the country for their whole hearted support to me during my tenure as Dean ICP.
8. InstallationofDeanfor2016-2017 Dr. K. K. Pareek the outgoing Dean invited Dr. A. Muruganathan on the
dias and installed him as the Dean of ICP (2016-17). Dr. Pareek thanked the fellows for their support given to him during as the Dean.
Dr. A. Muruganathan thanked all the fellows and also welcomed the suggestions from them
Dr. Shashank Joshi expressed his views that Dr. Pareek organized highest CMEs in all over the country he had done many activities during his tenure and an outstanding work.
