Who are at least 4 “trusted adults” on your child’s list? Ask them!

Are you
Keeping a
child safe?
A trusted adult:Respects a child’s boundaries: the child’s body boundaries as well as healthy, safe family boundaries.
Recoginizes a child’s right to their feelings and the child’s right to express those feelings openly
Understands and respects the child’s sense of safety when they say, “No, I don’t want to be touched right now!”
Believes the child when they say their boundaries have been violated
Takes action to keep the child safe!
Keeping children safe IS everyone’s buisness. Talking with a child about their list is a small act you can do to keep each and every child safe. When each adult takes on this responsibility of trust, a community as a whole can keep all children safe.
