Learning objectivesGain an understanding of the features and capabilities of Hyperion Planning and its relationship with Essbase. Learn about the planning cycle, run reports and create ad hoc queries with Smart View.

Course descriptionTopics include: workspace navigation, data forms, entering and adjusting data in Hyperion Planning and SmartView, the Budget Review Cycle, task lists and basic reporting. In SmartView you will explore connection manager, member selection and using data forms for entering, calculating and processing data. Attendees will also analyse data using the ad hoc features such as pivot, drill-down, keep only and remove only.
