Wind Turbine Fundamental Hydraulics
This four and a half-day course emphasizes the fundamentals and principles of hydraulic systems used for wind turbine operation such as pitch control, yaw control, braking, and cooling/filtration systems. Focusing on com-ponent construction and op-eration, as well as on the role of the individual components in an operating hydraulic sys-tem, the student will come away with a solid foundation for future studies within the hydraulics industry.
Who Should Attend
This course is appropriate for sales and maintenance personnel who need to have a solid understanding of the operation of the hydraulics used in wind turbine opera-tion. Almost half of all wind turbines installed today utilize hydraulics as a central ele-ment of control.
