Profile – Martin Nally – Managing Director....
Martin Nally
Martin is Founder and Managing Director of hranywhere - a Human Resources Service Company,offering People solutions to business.
Martin has been a HR practitioner for over 25 years. His early years were spent in the MiningIndustry where Martin held several senior HR/ER roles with Pasminco Ltd (now Zinifex), the world’slargest zinc producer, spanning a period of 10 years. Other Career highlights include:
• almost 7 years with Kraft Foods Limited where he held the position of Director Human Resources(Aust – NZ).
• 3 years as National Personnel Manager with the Mayne Group.• joining Coles Myer Limited in November 2003 he held a number of General Manager-HR
positions within that corporation. Overseeing the Payroll Processes for Coles Myer (8.6 millionpays p.a) during Australia’s largest payroll outsourcing project. Martin took the lead HR role inthe sale of Myer and managed the integration process for transferring 23,000 employees to thenew entity and rolled out the ‘Coles Myer for You’ People Brand. He left Coles Myer to starthranywhere in October 2006.
Martin holds degrees in Economics and Business Studies. He is also a Fellow of the AustralianHuman Resources Institute (AHRI), a past AHRI State President in Tasmania, a Fellow of theAustralian Institute of Insurance and a Chartered Member of the Institute of Company Directors.
Martin is an Executive Committee member of Australian Senior HR Roundtable (ASHRR), amember of RMIT’s Advisory Board of Management and he is Chairman of the Board at St Kevin’sCollege, Toorak. Martin holds Director positions with AQA and Aspire Learning.
Martin is an enthusiast for improving the people dimension of business. He has a wife and fourchildren and has a passion for family, fun, the Wallabies and the Melbourne Football Club.
