CHRIST AROSE
If Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith.
More than that, we are then found to be false witnesses about God, for we have testified about God that he raised Christ from the dead.
And if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile - you are still in your sins.
Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ are lost.
If only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are to be pitied more than all men.
The Apostle Paul said…
1 Corinthians 15:14-19 (NIV)
There is
If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

RESURRECTION
TO
KING DAVID
1
2 Samuel 7:16 (NIV)
God promised King David
through the prophet Nathan:
“Your house and your kingdom
shall endure for ever before me;
Your throne shall be established
forever.”
Psalm 16:9-10 (NIV)
King David said of the Christ to come:
“My heart is glad and my tongue
rejoices; my body also will rest
secure, because you (God) will
not abandon me to the grave,
nor will you let your Holy One
see decay.”
Acts 2:30-32
The Apostle Peter confirms it:
David was a prophet and
knew that God had promised
him on oath that he would
place one of his descendants
on his throne.
Seeing what was ahead, David
spoke of the resurrection of
the Christ, that he was not
abandoned to the grave, nor did
his body see decay. God has
raised this Jesus to life, and we
a
re all witnesses of the fact.
2 The Identity of Jesus
John 14:6 (NIV)
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No-one comes to the Father except through me.”
John 11-25 (NIV)
Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die.”
Matthew 26:29 (NIV)
“I tell you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it anew with you in my Father’s kingdom.”
John 2:19-22 (NKJV)
Jesus answered and said to them, “Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.” Then the Jews said, “It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and will You raise it up in three days?”
But He was speaking of the temple of His body. Therefore, when He had risen from the dead, His disciples remembered that He had said this to them; and they believed the Scripture and the word which Jesus had said.
John 10:17-18 (NKJV)
“Therefore My Father loves Me, because I lay down My life that I may take it again.
No one takes it from Me, but I lay it down of Myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again.
This command I have received from My Father.”
Our
Justification3
Romans 3:24 (NKJV)
Being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.
Romans 5:9 (NKJV) Having now been justified by His blood we shall be saved from wrath through Him.
Romans 4:24-25 (mixed NIV and NKJV)
Righteousness shall be imputed to us who believe in Him who raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead, who was delivered up for our offenses and was raised for our justification.
God sent His SonThey called Him Jesus
He came to love heal and forgiveHe lived and died to buy my pardon
An empty grave is there To prove my Saviour lives

Because He lives I can face tomorrow
Because He lives All fear is gone
Because I know-ow-ow He holds the future
And life is worth the living Just because He lives
