Ensure that a Liting Plan has been established
or the load and the entire liting team has been
brieed on the plan.
Conduct operational tests on all limiting and indicating
devices under no load condition at the start o every shit.
Record the test results in a log book/ sheet.

Ensure that a Permit-To-Work (PTW) has
been issued beore the start o any liting
operation.
Ensure that the ground condition has been assessed sae or
crane travel and liting beore starting any operation. Report
any unsae ground conditions to your Liting Supervisor.

levelled ground. Fully extend all the outriggers
and secure the jacks on the base plates.
