Indefinite Pronoun Indefinite Pronoun An indefinite pronoun refers to something that is not definite or specific or exact.
(Un pronom indéfini se réfère à quelque chose qui n'est pas défini ou spécifique ou exact)
Examples:Singular: another, anybody, anyone, anything, each, either, everybody, everyone, everything, little, much,...
Plural: both, few, many, others, several,...
Singular or Plural: all, any, more, most, none, some,...

Note Note Singular: Example : Each of the members has one vote.
Example : One of the girls gave up her seat.
Plural: Plural indefinite pronouns take plural verbs or plural personal pronouns.
Example : Both of them are equally experienced. (both is plural, so are plural pronoun.)
Example: Many were not able to make it to the party, and several were late.
( many and several are plural noun).
For indefinite pronouns that can be singular or plural, it depends on what the indefinite pronoun refers to.
Example : All of the people clapped their hands. (All refers to people, which is plural.)
Example : All of the newspaper was soaked. (Here all refers to newspaper, which is singular.)
