The collection, The Curse of Sisyphus, was created to represent the cyclical struggle that Americans face when attempting to raise out of their current economic status. In a society that touts the rare American Dream success story as common day occurrence, the collection is meant to focus on the working uniform as a glorified costume, singing disingenuous hymns of “if only you’d just work harder” and “pull yourself up by your bootstraps” to the masses. It is to represent the falseness associated to America’s support system for the working poor, that is lacking in both substance and sustenance.
