Concept, design and technical execution of ALU’s exhibition booth in Düsseldorf. Each thematic room dramatised one of ALU’s key products for the retail market. An enclosed unit to be viewed through peep-holes or to be experienced by actually walking through.A central meeting area with DJ and informa-tion desk welcomed the clients. The first floor-terrace space was used as sales and office area.

My inspiration for the newly created label PRI-VATSACHEN MANN is the old city of Ham-burg with its port, sailors and a long tradition of seafaring - PRIVATSACHEN MANN is truly made of Hamburg. The collection celebrates the masculine at-titude and appearance. Men do like to fall in love with a special item of clothing, keeping it forever, wanting to rely on it like on a pal. They need to trust that they can touch and use it, without breaking it. Men’s clothing per se needs to be reliable. The male love for things grows through quality and steadiness. A great inspiration transformed into sustaina-ble and ethically sound fibre.

RIGHT AS RAIN™ is an inspirational fashion project which takes eco-fashion literally. It fo-cuses on the aesthetics created by nature, offer-ing a perception of a beauty man would never be able to create. I designed rather architectural men’s and wom-an’s silk shirts, had them produced locally, and planted them into the ground where they ma-ture for three months. The garments are ex-posed to nature’s forces and unpredictable de-sign process. Once harvested, the results are stunning, featuring almost figurative drawings. Every single shirt is unique.Only environmental friendly and ethically sound materials are used in the production pro-cess. All production steps are within a distance less than 15km from the place where the shirts are cultivated. True eco fashion in every respect.
