AccountholderswhohaveforgottentheirBGSUpasswordandhavepreviouslyestablishedSecurityQuestionsandAnswersfortheiraccountwillbeabletoresettheirpasswordusingtheForgottenPasswordSelf‐Serviceapplication.Thisself‐serviceapplicationisavailable24x7viaalinkontheMyBGSUloginpage.PleaseNote:AnyaccountholderwhohasnotpreviouslyestablishedSecurityQuestionsandAnswersfortheiraccountwillneedtocontacttheTechnologySupportCenter(TSC)toresettheirpassword.TousetheForgottenPasswordSelf‐Serviceapplication,selectthe“ForgottenPassword”linkavailableunderQuickLinksontheMyBGSUloginpage.

YouwillbeaskedtoenteryourusernameandBGSUID#.

Select“Continue”afteryouhaveenteredyourusernameandID.Ifyoudonotknowyourusername,pleasecontacttheTechnologySupportCenter.

YouwillbeaskedtoanswertwoofthefourSecurityQuestionsyouestablishedforthisaccount.BesuretoanswerthequestionsexactlyasyoudidwhenselectingyourSecurityQuestionsandAnswers.Capitalizationwillbeignored.IfyouareunabletoansweryourSecurityQuestionscorrectly,pleasecontacttheTechnologySupportCenter.

Youwillalsoneedtoenteranewpassword.PleasebesurethepasswordconformstothecriterialistedunderPasswordRequirements.
