Convenience is key when it comes to day-to-day errands. Many of these trips will be catered for at Evabourne with a range of forthcoming amenities designed in to the very fabric of the village.
Every village needs a local shop; somewhere to pick up a pint of milk and the Sunday papers. Furthermore, a medical centre, a school, and a village hall with changing rooms to serve the extensive playing fields and sports pitches are also central to the development plan. These amenities will provide a focal point for village life and form the foundations from which this new community can connect and thrive.

As well as offering a cornucopia of historical and cultural attractions, the nearby Medway towns of Maidstone and Rochester provide a perfect contrast to rural living.
Maidstone offers plenty when it comes to independent stores. The Royal Star Arcade provides a mix of stylish, and exclusive boutiques, while major high street names such as Superdry, House of Fraser, H&M and Zara can be found at the town’s popular Fremlin Walk shopping area. Maidstone is also on the map when it comes to dining. Alongside franchised establishments including Bills, Wagamama and Zizzi, fine dining is on offer at Embankments Bar & Restaurant, with its glorious waterside setting, in the old part of the town and the ever-popular Nelson’s in St Faiths Street, with its log fires and a cosy atmosphere.
Rochester’s picturesque high street, strung with bunting, is home to many attractive boutiques, gift shops and quirky homeware stores. The aesthetically pleasing nature of the high street also provides the perfect back drop for a spot of café culture, with patrons relaxing outside the popular coffee shops, tea rooms and restaurants in the summer months.
If that wasn’t enough, the behemoth of Bluewater and all it has to offer can be reached in under half an hour by car.

EVABOURNE • PETERS VILLAGE • WOULDHAM • KENT FOREVER LIFESTYLE
Move your body and move your mindOne of the most appealing aspects of life at Evabourne is the ease with which residents can enjoy an active lifestyle full of adventure and exploration. The village is designed to encourage a balanced quality of life and wellbeing through its amenities and benefits from a location which presents a wide range of activities readily accessible for all to enjoy.
At the heart of the village the large parkland area with its playing fields, green open spaces and cycle routes is accessible to all. To the west, the village takes in the meandering River Medway. Ever-popular for sailing, kayaking and fishing, the Medway is also central to a network of trails and bridleways crying out to be explored.
To the east lies the stunning Kent Downs, designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, where trails and paths take in exceptional views and are perfect for hiking, cycling and running or simply calming the mind in peaceful contemplation.
The county town of Maidstone boasts several captivating museums and galleries. Highlights include the Maidstone Museum & Art Gallery, based in an Elizabethan manor house in the centre of the town it has extensive collection of over 600,000 objects. Maidstone is also home to The Hazlitt Theatre, offering a varied programme of drama, comedy and music.
Beyond Maidstone and all it has to offer, the area is blessed with a plethora of cultural hubs and organised activity centres to expand the mind, broaden horizons and get the juices flowing.

The proud naval tradition of the county is celebrated at The Historic Dockyard at Chatham. Steeped in 400 years of naval history, today the yard is a major tourist attraction with an extensive collection of exhibits and is also home to the Copper Rivet Craft Distillery, producing small batches of exceptional gins, whiskies and vodkas. Visitors can enjoy tours and tastings and pick up a bottle of their favourite tipple at the distillery shop.
Golfers are well catered for too, with three 18-hole courses within a 10-mile radius. Rochester & Cobham Golf Club, at the northern edge of the Kent Downs, is the closest and can be reached in under 15 minutes by car.
For adrenaline fuelled action, residents of Evabourne can take advantage of the world class facilities at Cyclopark and the Buckmore Park Kart Circuit. Approximately 10 miles from Peters Village, Cyclopark offers a BMX track, road track, mountain bike trails, a skate park, group fitness activities and much more. Just 10 minutes by car from Evabourne, Buckmore Park Kart Circuit is where many current and past Formula One drivers learned their trade, including F1 champions Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton. Open to the public, the circuit offers courses for budding speedsters from the age of 6 and up. Big kids are welcome too!
For a more sedate pastime, just over the river from Peters Village, residents can enjoy some of the best fresh water angling in the South East at Medway Valley Fisheries. Founded in 2004 nine fantastic lakes were established where experienced, junior and disabled anglers alike can enjoy their surroundings and a friendly atmosphere whilst pursuing their passion.
The Cathedral City of Rochester is home to several prominent historic buildings dating from as early as the 14th Century including Rochester Castle. Rochester also plays host to the historic Sweeps Festival every May. The festival is a revival of the historic ‘Jack-in-the-Green’ celebration and features dancing chimney sweeps and troupes of morris men. Authentically English and hugely popular with tourists, the festival was described by Dickens in ‘Sketches by Boz’. The City’s association with the great author is also the theme for two Dickens Festivals held annually in June and December.

Forever in touch with natureEvabourne is set against a naturally stunning backdrop, surrounded by the quintessentially English landscape of rural Kent. Beautiful year-round, the Kent Downs come to life spectacularly in the spring and summer months when the winding footpaths and woodland trails burst into colour with blossoms and wildflowers marking the changing of the seasons and the renewal of the landscape. It’s no surprise then to find that the Garden of England is home to an extraordinary array of wildlife. Indeed, the abundance and variety of animal and bird life, flora and fauna are fundamental aspects of life in the village.
Nearby, Blue Bell Hill exemplifies this. Whether standing above the clouds on a winters’ morning or watching the last rays of sun striking reds, purple and gold across the valley there is always something fantastical about this place. Situated next door to Burham Down Reserve the chalk grassland, scrub and woodland sits high up with panoramic views across to Leybourne and West Malling.
Evabourne’s location will also afford residents easy access to perennial Kentish coastal gems such as Whitstable and the epic vistas at Sandwich Bay. Here the fruits de mer and fresh sea air provide a tonic to the pace of modern life.

Bordering Evabourne is Peters Pit, designated a Nature Reserve by Natural England due to its standing as a Site of Special Scientific Interest. New residents will count amongst their neighbours the
rare Great Crested Newt, various types of orchid, the Adonis Blue Butterfly and the Marsh Mallow Moth – Peters Village being one of only two locations in the UK where this species can be found.

Welcome to Evabourne:Perennial and timeless design in a contemporary village setting
The mix of homes at Evabourne have been deliberately designed in a range of styles to create a varied and considered streetscape. As a whole, this design will give Evabourne a sense of belonging to this unique location.
The exterior finishes, including traditional brick stock and weatherboarding, take their cues from the materials typically used in historic Kentish housebuilding. Underpinned by modern building techniques, Evabourne is set to become a timeless classic.
With a landscaped village setting as a backdrop, all the properties benefit from private gardens and designated off-street parking, offering residents an all important sense of space and freedom.
