1,000 homes and damaged more than 5,000 homes

• Over 48,000 people were evacuated, and nearly 24,500 were relocated to temporary shelters.

What is in Our Food?

• Rice, the most widely accepted grain around the world.

• Soy nuggets, providing maximum protein at lowest cost.

• Vitamins, minerals and a vegetarian flavoring to give growing children the critical nutritional elements they need.

• Dehydrated vegetables for flavor and nutrition.

Program Administration

• Administered by RMI staff in Florida and in Haiti.

• RMI works in cooperation with The Evangelical Baptist Mission of Southern Haiti (MEBSH). MEBSH consists of over 487 churches in Southern Haiti. RMI has maintained a solid working relationship with MEBSH for over 40 years.

Food for Haiti provides…

• 216 meals per case for the low cost of $25

• Each case provides a family of 6 with one hot, nourishing meal every day for an entire month
