ThisproductallowsplaybackofMP3filesonCD-ROM CD-R or CD-R�� discs.CD-R or CD-RW discs.CD-RorCD-RWdiscs.
TheunitcanreadMP3fileswrittenintheformatcompliantwithISO9660.HoweveritdoesnotsupporttheMP3datawrittenbythemethod ofpacketwrite.
TheunitcannotreadanMP3filethathasafileextensionotherthan".mp3". Ifyouplayanon-MP3filethathasthe".mp3"extension,youmayhearsomenoise. Inthismanual,werefertowhatarecalled"MP3file"and"folder"inPCterminologyas"Track"and"Album",respectively. Maximumnumberofdirectorylevelis8,includingtherootdirectory.Maximumnumberoffilesandfoldersperdiscis256. Theunitmaynotplaytracksintheorderoftracknumbers.
TheunitplaysonlytheaudiotracksifadisccontainsbothaudiotracksandMP3files. Whenplayingadiscof8kbpsorVBR*,theelapsedplayingtimeinthedisplaywindowwillnotbecorrectandalsotheintroplaymaynot

Note on creating your own CD-Rs or CD-RWs containing MP3 files Toenjoyhighqualitysound,werecommendconvertingtoMP3fileswithasamplingfrequencyof44.1kHzandafixedbitrateof128kbps. DONOTstoremorethan256MP3filesperdisc. ForISO9660-compliantformat,themaximumallowabledepthofnestedfoldersis8,includingtherootdirectory(folder).

Installation Opening
Thisunitcanbeinstalledinanydashboardhavinganopening
asshownabove.Thedashboardshouldbe4.75mm-5.56mm
thickinordertobeabletosupporttheunit.
Important:
Removethesetwoscrewsbeforeinstallation.Otherwise,
theCD/MP3Playerwillnotwork.
1. Insert mounting collar into the dashboard, and bend
the mounting tabs out with a screwdriver.
Makesurethatlocklever isflushwith themountingcollar.(Notprojectingoutward)
2. Secure the rear of the unit.
Afterfixingmountingboltandpowerconnector, fixtherearoftheunittothecarbodybyrubber cushion.
3. Insert trim plate.
