Liquid passes through cage orificesin each stage, undergoing a portionof the total required pressure drop.This partial pressure drop in eachstage of a properly sized valvenormally prevents the liquidpressure from falling to or below itsvapor pressure, eliminating theformation of vapor bubbles.

The limit switch box can beinstalled on the actuator to holdproximity or microswitches, whichcan turn on an alarm or displaydevice when a pre-set limit isreached. Additional microswitchesare available.
The device has separate cams foropen and closed positions, andadjustment of one cam does notaffect the other.
